$ The root of evil? $
by BurnTheShips in" said francisco d'anconia.
"have you ever asked what is the root of money?
money is a tool of exchange, which can't exist unless there are goods produced and men able to produce them.
-
James Mixon
The lack of money is the root of all evil. I must admit I L--O--V--E money.
If the love of money is the Root of all Evil, what money was used with Adam?
Ask the man that have his ass out and living on the street.

On respect for the belief of others. Sorry for the long post
by StarTrekAngel ini am inclined to start this thread in response to some comments made in other threads.
i have been coming around these forum for quite some time now so whatever you find in here is not just related to something someone may have said this week.
it can go months back as well.. i have seen many who claim to respect the belief of others but when it comes down to applying it into practice, things take a whole different tune.

I would love to have one of the GB members come here. I hope we
all could respect his belief, no name calling, no asking are you out of your mind,
do you use drugs and etc. You think we could be respectful????

Curiosity killed the cat.
by James Mixon indon't you think with all the talk about apostate sites, this is having a reverse.
effect for the rf.
if i was a jw today i would wonder what are all the lies these people are saying.. and i would try defending their truth on these sites, but in each case those that come here.

To bad they can't count time preaching to Apostates, they would
have a hell of a lot of hours for the month.LOL

agree what is said. I have yet to see a JW come here and set matters straight.

Why JWs record and report time?
by ThinkerBelle inokay, so yes, i'm a born-in, but this point has always baffled me (and i guess i never bothered to research or ask).
what is the purpose of counting time in service?
when was it started and why?

God will look into his book to see how many hours you have spent
in the preaching work. If it's less the 10 hours month you will be in deep sh--t.
You may not get a beach front property in the new system, you may be stuck
in the South Pole.

2015 Jehovah's Witnesses Annual Meeting Lett warning about apostates CLIP
by Watchtower-Free inhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ja4z2-sf4ky.

I never thought of this but the Apostates that Mr. Lett is talking about are
men in the congregations, men who are taking the lead. We are not misleading
the congregations, in 2 Thessalonians 2:4 "who opposes and exalts himself above
all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple(KH).
We are not sitting in the temple or speaking before the congregation.
It so clear, he is talking about the GB, CO and some elders.LOL
And who in the hell is slipping back into the congregations, for what.
Are you crazy, why would anyone go back.
After breaking free of that place I don't see anyone going back to make followers or
start another religion.
I wish someone would tell this fool, you want see us in your KH.

How was it for you when you had to shun someone?
by Anator ini remember a good friend when i was in and active who was d'fd.
when he started coming back, for me at that time is was gut-wrenching not to say 'hello' or at the very least encourage him to continue.
i thought even at this time, does this act of shunning really effective?
-
James Mixon
I never shun anyone, elders didn't have to shun. -

Did Jesus really die on a cross?
by macys inbeing raised a catholic we had lots of crosses around the house.
when my family converted to this cult they were all removed and destroyed in case they had demons in them lol but at this juncture in my life i do not even know if jesus as the way he is portrayed in the bible was real.
yes a man named jesus did live and die 2000 years ago and probably on a cross but he was definitely not the son of god.

Why be such a stickler, only the witnesses. If the news reported, a man shot standing
against an oak tree shot in the head, you would wonder what's the point in mentioning the oak tree.
WTH, the man was killed. Who give a crap if he was standing on his head, the man was killed.
